KindyGrapple™ | 3-5 years*: This kids program teaches young children balance, co-ordination and proprioception as well as grappling basics through fun exercises + games. Useful sport + self defence skills such as how to safely use takedowns, how to pin someone, and how to escape pins and stand back up are the core outcomes of these classes.
*Kids under 3 are welcome with parent/guardian’s participation in classes until Coach Jack assesses that your child is ready for independent participation. Just ask us!
JuniorGrapple™ | 6-12 years**: This kids program builds on all the above learnings, as well as how to safely perform submission holds. This program teaches older children co-operation, restraint and self-discipline.
**We understand that kids under 6 may already be enrolled in primary school and therefore unable to attend our morning classes. In this case, your child may be able to join our JuniorGrapple™ sessions once Coach Jack has met your child, understood their needs + assessed safe partnering for each session - during their free trial week with us. Just ask us!
Beginner/Intermediate: Open to all levels (13+ years) - catered to basic movements + techniques + concepts of submission grappling.
Advanced: Open to all levels (13+ years) - focused on higher order movements +techniques + concepts, as well as how these combine in the strategic application of submission grappling.
Open training: Our open training sessions are included in our memberships, and available to visitors on a “visitor day pass” only. These are self-directed social sessions supervised by Coach Jack. These sessions allow you to train at your own leisure, and choose whether you would like to train gi or no-gi.
*Private sessions: Private training sessions are by appointment only. Please contact us to book your own private training sessions.
