Frequently asked questions
Adults can get started by purchasing our “21 Day Introductory Offer: The Advance Method,” or a membership here. Our intro offer is only available to new adult customers and is designed to help you experience our training room, Coach Jack’s teaching style and curriculum, and class styles before making a longer term commitment.
Kids can get started by booking a free starter pass (one complimentary intro class) and then selecting a membership here.
I’m new, where should I start?
We offer group training sessions for adults, grappling classes for kids of all ages, as well as private lessons with Coach Jack and other grappling events. Our programs cater to all levels of experience, and Coach Jack provides supervision and individually-tailored guidance throughout each class. Please refer to our timetable for available sessions.
What programs do you offer?
For members and visitors alike, all classes must be booked and managed via our timetable. Sorry, we do not accept bookings or cancellations via email, phone, or social media.
How do I book a session?
Whether it’s your first class or your child’s first class, please arrive at the training room 10-15 minutes before the timetabled class start time to attend our newbie safety induction with Coach Jack.
When should I arrive for my first class?
To get started, we recommend comfortable activewear (t-shirt and shorts/leggings). In time, you may prefer to train in a rash guard and grappling shorts and/or leggings/spats. Bare feet is compulsory for all grappling classes (on the mats), but thongs/slides are compulsory off the mats (in reception, spectator areas and in the bathroom) for hygiene purposes. You will be expected to remove your footwear mat side before partaking in the class.
What do I need to wear?
Please bring your own refillable water bottle; we have a refill station available. You may choose to bring your own sweat towel for hygiene purposes. If you wish to shower before/after class, please bring your own towel.
